⚡️ On February 24, the Buddha Medicine day, Kyabje Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche will bestow the empowerment of his personal protectress — Achi Chokyi Drolma.
Achi Chokyi Drolma is a great Dharma Protectress whose vow and power are considered exceptionally effective in our time. She is an emanation of Vajrayogini and the embodiment of the wisdom of all Buddhas. Unlike many other protectors, Achi lived as a real woman (she was the great-grandmother of the founder of the Drikung Kagyu lineage); therefore, her connection with people and her compassion toward us are particularly strong.
She is considered a “swift” protectress: her practice helps to instantly eliminate external obstacles and internal hindrances on the path, and it quickly fulfills wishes. Practitioners turn to Achi for protection against illnesses, for the harmonization of life, and for the creation of favorable conditions for Dharma practice. It is also believed that Achi has the power to lead a devoted practitioner to the Pure Land of Vajrayogini.
⚠️ Important requirement: This empowerment will be granted only to students of Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche XIII or to those who are ready to commit to a daily Serkyem offering to Achi Chokyi Drolma.
The Serkyem text is currently being composed. Rinpoche will provide the text at a later date.
