Chutor practice, water offering to Black Dzambhala

This Sunday morning, Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche will lead the Chutor practice, make a water offering to Black Dzambhala, and give some commentary. Please join the live Zoom session.

In Tibetan Buddhism, Chutor, also known as a water offering or water torma, is a ritual offering of water to Dzambhala, the god of wealth. It is a way to express gratitude, ask for blessings for wealth and spiritual growth, and is a symbol of generosity.

Chutor is primarily dedicated to Dzambhala, who represents prosperity and abundance. Offerings to Dzambhala are believed to help practitioners accumulate material wealth and spiritual prosperity. The act of offering water symbolizes generosity and is believed to purify the practitioner’s heart and accumulate merit.

According to Rinpoche, Chutor is also a powerful practice that removes many obstacles in life and helps pay off your karmic debts.
