At the invitation of the Irkutsk and Buryat Sangha of Russia, in October 2025, Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche arrived in Russia, in the city of Irkutsk, for the second time. For several days Rinpoche granted teachings and empowerments, namely the Amitabha Buddha and Singhamukha Kilaya empowerments.
On October 15, Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche flew to Moscow to meet with his Guru, His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa, at North Kunsangar. After a long separation, Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche was reunited with his Guru and participated in a 7-hour Ganachakra offering. Rinpoche also met with the local Sangha at Kunsangar and answered questions.
It was more fortunate then everything for me to see my Guru (after almost 8 years practicing of subjugating such many evils of the path) received most secret initiation of Yangtig, being a part of Gana Chakra in one Mandala under one Guru and specially to be under his vision in the front line for almost 7 hours and time to time receiving his compassionate smile on me was the most precious signification sign in Vajrayana’s Samaya that represents physically how long distant you may have with Guru but mentally Guru never be-apart from you as Milarepa and Rechungpa.
Keep faith on Guru Yoga practice because this is the only key point that how you yourself be united with the Guru’s awaken mind. LAMA KHENNO, LAMA KHENNO, RANGRIG DHOEN GHI LAMA KHENNO.
Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche
After spending several days near Moscow, Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche returned to Irkutsk and continued to grant teachings and perform rituals. A Ganapuja was held, along with an explanation of the Chöd practice, and a Chakrasamvara Fire Ritual was performed on Angara river to overcome negative influences.
Next, Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche travelled to Buryatia, to the village of Mogsohon, where he granted various teachings and performed the Riwo Sangchö ritual and a Vajrakilaya Fire Puja. The weather was astonishing: gloomy dark clouds parted over the mountain slope and the bright sun appeared, illuminating the blue sky! In the evening, the local residents offered the Teacher a small concert performance at the Culture House and took a commemorative photograph.
On October 26, in the Kizhinginsky district of Buryatia, the Teacher performed the Riwo Sangchö offering ritual on Chelsana mountain, where a spot was consecrated for the statue of Guru Rinpoche Sampa Lhundrup – Spontaneously Fulfilling All Wishes. The local residents warmly welcomed the Teacher, introducing him to the secondary school and lyceum. The XIII Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche presented Gennady Lkhasaranov, the head of the Kizhinginsky district of Buryatia, with sacred ringsels from the Shakyamuni Buddha’s tooth, taken from the 10th Ga Lhakhang’s gau amulet. These will be enshrined in the Guru Rinpoche statue. Nature responded, manifesting in miraculous signs in the sky, and people’s hearts were filled with kindness and joy!
The program of Kyabje Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche’s stay in Buryatia concluded in the city of Ulan-Ude with a Nyungne retreat, the Red Avalokiteshvara empowerment, and an unexpected congratulation for his upcoming birthday. The Teacher was invited to visit the Republic again.
