Several people asked one question. They said that they have received many empowerments from you, but they can’t do all these practices every day. So, what is the shortest way to keep the samaya for the busy people who don’t have much time for practice? And the one person even asked if he can do only Troma Nagmo, can he do only one practice to keep the samaya of all practices?

Rinpoche:

These are the interesting questions. That’s why I’m saying, whenever I give empowerment, every time many of you ask for the Sadhana. Sadhana, practice, Sadhana, practice, Sadhana, practice, Sadhana. So, I’m just surprising for myself. Oh my God, how can you practice all of this? Every time you need a practice, I always surprising, how can you practice all those things?  

Actually, this question, I was going to ask to you, but unfortunately, you asked me. It is true. That’s what I’m saying to everyone. It’s very difficult, and we get confused. From the many times, many years back, all of us, we have received many teachings, many empowerments, even for myself also, many, many empowerments I’ve received, from my own lineage, from the Ningma lineage, and even some from the Gelug lineage, and I received empowerments from the Sakya lineage also, from different lineages. But this is not possible to do the practice all together.

What is the empowerment? That is the important. What is the meaning of the empowerment? That is important. When you know the meaning of the empowerment. Empower, putting some power, empowering, yeah? Empowering. If you know the meaning of that, then you’ll understand how to do the practice. So, receiving empowerment with many different gurus. Actually, receiving empowerment with the root guru is a special one. If you can be able to receive an empowerment with the root guru, your own root guru, yeah? We all have our own root guru. So, which is the main master.

I always used to tell to others, that when we talk about a guru, there’s two ways of guru that we have to understand, the relative guru and the ultimate guru. So, the relative guru that we take, the one guru which is in the human form, the outer form of the guru which we can see: black, white, short, tall, ugly, handsome, huge, yeah? The guru, smart, talented, educated or non-educated. So, this is the relative guru that we see from outside. But ultimate guru is the guru when we realise the relative guru, then we get into the realising of the ultimate guru, which means the relative gurus, the inner guru, actually, the reality guru, which is the connection with the mind of the guru. We can say, direct connection, mind-to-mind connection, invisibly, like, how the two walkie-talkie connect. Can you see how they are connecting? We cannot see. But when you talk from here, you can listen from other walkie-talkies. And when the other walkie-talkie talks, you can listen from the other walkie-talkie. Like, connecting with that one walkie-talkie, with the ultimate guru. Understand? It’s like that. Knowing the secret of the gurus, understanding of the guru. And the inner the unborn guru which was from the beginning, before even we have realised it. Yeah? The secretness of insight, the walkie-talkie, which is insight. So that is called connecting with the ultimate guru. First of all, after understanding the relative guru, then we transfer to the understanding of the ultimate guru.

But even the one who is giving the empowerment, we really don’t contact that person also as our root one, the important one, the root guru. Some even, they don’t take it. So, even giving the empowerment time, it says, the guru Vajrapani, the guru Avalokiteshvara, the guru Troma Nagmo, the guru Simhamukha. The guru is the three different types of names it has. In the Theravada they take it as a teacher. In the Mahayana, they take it as a master. In the Vajrayana, we take it as a guru, three different names. And also, they have three different ways of responsibilities. Guru is like that.

You start learning something from the guru, recognize the relative guru, and then not really an ultimate guru that we have to understand. It takes time to understand the ultimate guru. It takes long time to know the ultimate guru. Yeah, really, to know the ultimate guru, it takes a very long time. So, most of us, but not all, right nowadays, think ourselves, we are a practitioner, and this is my master, or he is my guru, my root guru. But really be careful, when we think about it. But we only understand and connect with the relative guru not with the ultimate guru, I don’t think so. Most of us are now connected with the relative guru and wouldn’t be able to reach and understand the ultimate guru. Whatever the guru does, the way of his talking, the way he is looking, and his any reaction, we don’t feel anything, we feel nothing. Really. Even if he is smiling, we don’t feel anything. Even if he is upset, we don’t feel anything. When you get into the understanding of the ultimate guru, even if the guru is very far, we don’t feel the guru is far. And whenever you want to see the guru, or you want to feel the guru, you will always feel very warm inside. So that is the now ultimate guru. But right now, we are running after someone, if we are running after the ultimate guru. Because if one day the guru has done something, or talked a little bit different than the usual, then we will just have a doubt. Now what is he talking about? What is he really talking about? I am a little bit doubt on him now. But with the past 10 years, I was saying that he is my guru. But now suddenly, why am I saying like, “Oh, I have a doubt on him now”? Because it shows that, whatever you were thinking until now and taking the guru, I mean visualizing the guru, you are just visualizing the relative guru. You are not visualizing the ultimate guru. That’s why even after 10 years, you still have a doubt on that guru.

So then, to receive the empowerment, first of all, it is good that we have a little bit of knowledge about the relative guru and the ultimate guru. Then, from whom you will receive the empowerment? First of all, you will never get into the confusion. It’s for sure. When you understand the difference between the relative and the ultimate. It’s just a short explanation that I’ve given about the relative and the ultimate. The relative guru is also coming in the one that who gives you empowerment, who gives you some vows, who gives you some guidance, who gives you some instructions, and who gives us a transmission. Those also come to the relative guru. But the ultimate guru has to be searched by ourselves. The relative guru is in everywhere, anytime, he can have the relative guru. But ultimately, there’s nothing any different than the relative guru. The ultimate guru has to be searched by ourselves.

With whom I will connect by walkie-talkie, as I said just recently, there are many walkie-talkies around. But even the two walkie-talkies, they also have, there are many walkie-talkies, but have to connect with the one. So, then it has, like, choose with which one you want to connect. There are many relative gurus who gives transmission, as I said, transmission, empowerment, commentary, guiding, teachings, instructions, all of them, about the Vajrayana who gives. But ultimate that you have to choose, you have to connect by yourself. So, then you will never get confusion whenever you receive empowerment. You will feel very light for yourself. And even when you see other Rinpoche as a master, as a guru, you will never feel any kind of good or bad. You will never feel from your heart that if somebody says, oh, that Rinpoche is doing like this and that Rinpoche is doing like that, you will just feel like, “oh, okay”. Maybe this is his way to doing it. And yeah, this is his way of doing it. You will be there to ready to accept it, for sure, definitely for sure. You will definitely have the feelings of accepting, after understanding the ultimate.

What is the ultimate? From whom you will receive empowerment, thousands and millions of empowerments you receive from someone, you will never get confused. It’s very much true. Yeah.

You will definitely know when you get to receive the empowerment from anyone, and he says, the guru, as I just said before, if you are receiving guru Simhamukha empowerment, so it will definitely say that the guru is in the front of the guru Simhamukha kneeling down and two hands together with a pure devotion and repeat this and those. It doesn’t mean that that person has to be your root guru. It doesn’t mean that the human form who is guru in the empowerment is your root guru or is the ultimate guru. Because it will be easy for you and you will also understand that. The person who is giving the empowerment, will instruct you to visualize that guru, not that person who is giving the empowerment into your root guru or that is the person is giving the empowerment is the deity. It’s not talking about that, actually, when you understand. Whoever the person is giving empowerment, no matter, no matter whoever the person is giving empowerment to you, no matter. But you have to understand that the deity is the ultimate guru itself. You understand what really, I’m talking about? Because after we get into the Vajrayana practice and after when we do something, practice, reciting or anything else, daily practice, reciting or some visualizing or meditation. Without the instructions of the guru, it is not possible. One hundred percent is shown. So, most of us, eventually, maybe somehow, we have a root guru, one that whom we trust. He is the one here that always in my heart. So that things we are understanding that the visualizing the person is not the guru, not the deity. The deity, it is the ultimate guru. Whoever the deity of empowerment that you are receiving, then you will not get confused.

Then if the empowerment of giving the person, if it is your guru, then it is very important. It is very easy for us to visualize him because he is already my guru. Definitely. However, we have a little different feeling, definitely. But for some new guru, some master who is giving empowerment, when we go to receive those empowerments, we have a little bit of hesitations. Because of why? Because we don’t understand the ultimate and the relative. That’s why we feel a little bit, “oh, he’s giving precious empowerment, but I really cannot receive it from him”. We have this feeling, definitely we have, most of us we have. I want that empowerment, but I don’t really want to take this empowerment from that master. Because I feel uncomfortable with him. Our feelings are like that. And it’s sure sometimes it happens a lot with us.

This is all the feelings which comes because we don’t understand this truth, relative and ultimate. And each master giving empowerment without understanding, we have to feel and we have to think that, now I have received this empowerment from this master, so now this master is also my guru, oh my God. He became my guru. Now I have to follow him also. And later, when we want something and some other master is giving empowerment, we just go there and receive the empowerment, then again, we feel, oh my God, again now I have another master. I have to follow that master also. And like this, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, many, many masters come in our life. Many, many masters. And even we don’t have an empty place to put the master’s picture also. Sometimes they get fight between themselves on the shrine. So it’s because of that actually.

So then we get confused of coming on the practice. Each, every empowerment, we think we have to do the practice. Nowadays people are like, I really want that empowerment. But I really wish to have this, because this empowerment I was thinking about many years before. But I feel a little bit uncomfortable because I don’t know how to do the practice. I cannot do the practice. It’s very difficult. I’m afraid of it. Then we just quit. Because we are afraid of a practice and afraid of samaya. Definitely we have to feel afraid of the samaya. Yes. Without the samaya, there won’t be a siddhi. They won’t be able to receive the siddhis from the empowerment too. They won’t be able to receive a siddhis from empowerment. It’s very true. So that’s why taking care of the samaya really is important.

We are human beings, samsaric beings. We are born in the desire realms. We always desire something. Having a desire about good, desire about bad. Even when it comes to the practice. Even in the practice also, we calculate with the desire. This practice, that practice, those practice, this practice. I love this, I love this deity. I like this deity. I have connection with this deity. I have connection with this master. So, actually we don’t really understand much, but still desire is coming with us.

And we receive one, two, three, four, five, six, seven and many, many empowerments. And then in every empowerment, we ask for the practice, we ask for the practice, we ask for the practice, we ask for the practice. And then we also feel afraid of it, because we couldn’t be able to do the practice now. Now what to do? We are not able to do the practice. We receive everything, but… The real point, source of happening of all these is because of not understanding the relative and the ultimate guru.

And that’s why.

Therefore, we think each and every empowerment we receive, we have to do the practice. Once we get to understand the relative and the ultimate guru, then we will know. We definitely know that from whom we are receiving empowerment. I mean, with the His Holiness we are receiving empowerment, or you are receiving empowerment from His Eminence. With whom you are receiving empowerment, you will definitely know it. Today I’m attending His Eminence empowerment. I’m receiving this empowerment from His Eminence. So therefore, when you will be there, receiving empowerment, when the guru also represents from, guides from there, say, now visualize in the front of the guru, so and so deity, you are repeating this or you having your pure devotions, kneeling down on your knees and doing prostrations.

And they say, it is a little bit, you also feel uncomfortable. How can I prostrate with this master? Because I really don’t know who is he. I really feel uncomfortable. But after you get to know the ultimate guru, when they give the empowerment, you don’t feel any matter of visualizing of the prostration. Because you are prostrating to the ultimate one. You are not prostrating to the relative. It was your prostration to the ultimate which was the unborn from the beginning. And that unborn one from the beginning is the deity of the mandala, isn’t it? That natural one is the deity of the mandala. So, you are prostrating to that deity, not the human being, not that human being which is sitting on the throne. So that’s why when you receive empowerment, we are taking a help and support from the ultimate guru.

Because as I said, human beings are born in the desire realm. We wish many things. The guru also doesn’t have much time to fulfill all the wishes. What the guru does is their ultimate wisdom, that appears the deity, according to our wishes. Like Medicine Buddha or Avalokitesvara, Tara or whoever so and so appears from that. And then we receive the empowerment for that. Empowering what?

Sometime in our mind or ourselves, in each corner, something is missing. Some energy, we feel like energy losing. We feel disease, sick or uncomfortable, having very weak memory, according to the time. So, for that purpose, that ultimate one transform into some forms. That is the form of the deity. And from that we are receiving the empowerment. To do those things that what we needed. Memory or something, eyesight or we have to grow our better health or wealth, auspicious, whatever. According to that ultimate one. Then what is the happening? Because we don’t have that totally our self-power. That’s why we call the empowerment. We have a power, but this power is not enough to gain that what we wish, what we want. We don’t have much enough power to have that. That’s why you receive the empowerment. To make that power more. Now you got to understand about the empowerment. Because we don’t still have the empty place to bring the power inside. That’s why the empowerment means the “torluk” in the two senses.

So then according to the deity, the empowerment will purify. And then again put something, the “torluk” means to purify in it, to clean it, cleaning up. As the same thing as like our computer. The computer is very old, but still working. How is it working? Because it’s a very old computer. But when we update the computer, what will happen? The things what was taking space will automatically go out. It will be cleaned from all junk. And then the new more space will come up. New more kind of activities will come. Like web browser in the computer. So “torluk” is also the same as the one that we make ourselves inside. We make more space and then we try to receive more sort of power or siddhis.

We are just updating ourselves from one empowerment, two empowerment, three empowerment. We are updating really. My body is also 32 years old. It’s a very old body. So why still alive? Because we are updating from the eating food, drinking tea, exercising, practicing, so and so with the many things. That’s why still outside is getting old, but the function inside the laptop is still good because we are updating time to time. We are receiving empowerment time to time. It doesn’t mean that whatever you have updated in your laptop, in one time, you have to check everything. Many functions you will find in your laptop, many things, but you cannot be able to check all in the one time. It is not possible. But still you are updating time to time within 15 days, within one week, you are updating for sure to keep it good and work well and then to do many things.

That’s why we are receiving empowerment. Because from the beginning, when I bought this laptop, it was not like this. It was very limited in something. When it was manufactured, it has limited things inside. Even same as like when we were born, we have only a limited understanding, limited so and so inside capacity. But after that, we are updating now, same as the laptop is also updating, taking out something and again putting in, updating new version and we delete all the junk and then again put something new time to time. “Tor” means to purify, to purify the things and the “luk” means to put again. So, the empowerment goes to these two things, as I said, “Torluk”, delete the junks and then update the new one.

But it doesn’t mean that delete means by purifying from the previous empowerment, when you’re going to receive another empowerment. It’s not like that. Don’t think that way.

Now after we receive many empowerments from many, many masters, never getting into the confusion. Empowerment that it means whenever we want something, whenever we need something, whenever we wish something, that time we can use that empowerment into our practice. Got it? So, when you need something, if you want to search something in your laptop, you will definitely find very easily because you have updated from the beginning. Time to time you have updated. So now it’s very easy for you to search if you want, when you need it. If you didn’t update your laptop from the beginning, then when you need something, how will you find that one? You cannot find that things in the software. So, it doesn’t mean that when, how much we receive empowerment, we have to do practice all together. No, it is not possible. If we try to do that, we get confused. Because we don’t understand the ultimate and the relative, because we take everyone as our guru and so and so. And we feel very pressure in our mind: “oh, now from him, I received the empowerment and I need to follow that one. And now I received another empowerment from that guru and I need to follow that guru also. And I have to keep the Samaya with that one also. And also, I have to keep the Samaya with the deity also. Oh, it’s too much for me.” Definitely it’s true. It’s too much.

Why it is being too much? Because we don’t understand the relative and ultimate. Then we think, “oh my God, now I don’t know how to do the practice”. Then we’re stuck, confused. Now you’re getting my point from where I start, why I talked about the guru? Because these two have this one. When sometimes, again, I’m telling this, many walkie talkies are around. And sometimes what happens when they don’t recognize a good one, which one is the number to connect with that perfect number? Walkie talkie has a number: 92 point something or 90 point something, just to come in with that. Sometimes when we miss out, then in one walkie talkie, we can listen to many other sounds and many other people’s talking. Really, it gets confused. Who is talking? What to do now? To whom? This is about that thing, because we don’t understand how to connect the point to the direct, to the ultimate one. Then we’re confused into the practice.

So then now, as I said, empowerment is a “torluk”. As I just said, “tor” and “luk”. We receive empowerment as updating ourselves. Even when we leave this body, we are updated one. So then, even when we go into the intermediate states, that empowerment which we have received, but not practiced it, doesn’t matter. That one also reminds us during that intermediate state. We still remain that. Because we used to eat, we have already updated once before. So then, when we go into the intermediate states, the mind will be more than 50% clever than the present one. So that time, each and every thing we remember about the empowerment, about that update. Until we are alive, if we need something, then we feel very much easy to do that practice. If you want something wealth, you want to do Kurukulle, you have received the empowerment before, so now you are permitted to do the practice.

According to the deities. For all the times, you have to choose one or two for your daily practice. When you open your laptop, for most of the time, you will use one file or window. You don’t use all the windows together. It’s not possible. So, for the time being, you have to choose which window you want to use.

But you still have another one. You still have all the empowerment, according to the time being. When you do practice you feel very comfortable because you know the ultimate one. You know how to visualize the deity, because the deity is coming from the ultimate one, which is the ultimate related with the guru’s dharmakaya. The ultimate means the guru dharma, our root guru is the dharmakaya form and that is the ultimate guru. Which is the only realization. After we knowing that ultimate one, which is really coming from the guru’s dharmakaya, then with whom you will receive empowerment, with whom you receive a transformation, which practice you want to do, you will never feel confused. Even when I’m receiving the empowerment from His Holiness, I will never get confused. Because I know the deity and the holiness who is giving this empowerment, the deity itself is the ultimate one. Not the outer human form. Human form is just a temporary form. The person is just a temporary one. But the one which has inside of that person, this is natural, which is all the natural comes from the same places, not any different places they have. So that is the connection with that one, with that deity. That’s why it’s easy to visualize after we understand that. And we will never get confused with the practice of each and every empowerment. We just choose the one when we need.

But for the old time, every day, we just choose the one, or maybe two practices, for morning one, or maybe evening one. If you have more time, so we can choose three practices. So that has to be all the daily routine.

According to the time being, so then it’s up to our empowerment. Did we receive that empowerment or not? Because if you receive and maybe feel a little bit uncomfortable, so maybe it’s a good way for practice of Medicine Buddha. Definitely. The daily practice is up to you. It’s always, we have to do. But top of that, we just aid another practice for time being, for ourselves to fulfill the desire, or maybe to get rid of the sickness that we have. For time being I will put more practice of the Medicine Buddha, because I’ve received the empowerment many times before. So, we can do it by that time.

You can take the empowerment whenever you receive the empowerment. You will never feel hesitation. If some Rinpoche Master or some Master is giving empowerment, you will know the meaning of the empowerment and why you are receiving it. Its main purpose is “torluk”. And then how it’s used. After receiving empowerment, then it’s up to us. Whether we can do the practice when we need something, or if you have any connections with the deity, with the deity of the empowerment, then it’s up to us whether we want to check the deity as our personal guidance. Then after that, then it comes like a yidam or whatever. Then also you will not get confused to choosing the yidam also. Now we choose a yidam or something like many, many things.

We’re still having a yidam, but still we don’t understand who is the yidam, what is the yidam. Or where the yidam comes from. Really we don’t understand. But we try to keep some yidam, but we really don’t understand. We think something, the yidam is something different. Something coming from different places, different country. Who feels that? “Guru invited that yidam from different country to help me. My Guru has given me the yidam because he invited that yidam from the different country to guide me for the rest of my life.” It’s not that one. The yidam is also connected with the ultimate one.

So that is the why. First of all, to understand what is the empowerment and how actually empowerment starts. From whom? From where the deity of the empowerment comes from? With understanding all these label-wise, if we can go through it, then definitely there won’t be any confusion. Then whenever we do practice, some so and so, we feel always satisfied. Until now we say, “I do this, but it’s not helping, I do that, it is not helping”. Many things, but not helping. Because how could it help until we don’t understand what is the ultimate? Who is the ultimate? Who is the deity? Who is just taking the deity as some kind of a very solid things? If we can just come and do something. But it is impossible. “Just come from somewhere and do something. Then help me.” Really it is impossible.

Because, and now, then again what is the confusion in the next, then why for some human being we say that he is my root guru? This is the question, right? Then why do humans say to someone that he is my root guru? He is my root guru because ultimately something is invisible. Then why we are telling to the some people that he is my guru and showing we are pointing to someone? Because we couldn’t be able to see the ultimate one. And even after when we realize, we don’t really keep the ultimate very solid in ourselves. Because of why we couldn’t purify the ignorance. Because purifying the ignorance doesn’t mean that, just taking out all the ignorance, no. Understanding the nature of the mind. We always call it, dzogpachenpo, dzogpachenpo, A, A. Very proudly we say that A we don’t understand. What is the A? We know the guru has given instructions for many years. What we really don’t realize the A, then how could we realize the deity? And if you don’t realize the deity, then how the deity helps? Isn’t it possible? Yes or not? You just think by yourself, then you will understand.

Then after all, when we start from the label wise from one to one and go up, then in any corner, we never feel doubt, we never feel confused, we never feel lonely.

We somehow we get a solution. Definitely some more we get a solution. Because we know the basic. That’s why we know everything about us. As the same as the house, we know how the ground foundation, how the ground did. When I know how is my house inside the ground, it has the pillar, then as much as I want to build the house up. I can build my house very confidently because I know how strong the ground is. I will never get confused to build my house up. Yes or not? You never get confused to build your house because you know the ground. That’s why. You know the ground. You know the guru. You know the ultimate. You know the relative. What is the relative? What is the difference between relative and the ultimate? Then all of us will never get confused. That is the important thing. And then we never also blame to someone. We never could be blamed to any deity. There will be no any chance to blame to some deity that he didn’t help me, that dakini didn’t help me. We never feel blaming to the dakini. We never feel blaming to the daka & dakini, to protect her. Never. Because the main thing is that for ourselves, we don’t understand what is ultimate and what is relative.

Then why should we blame to the deity? The deity is always there. The high power is always with us. The protectors are always with us. They are always in ourself. The great energy, the bliss is always within ourself. But only that we have to realize them. We have to know them. We have to understand them. We have to feel them. Feel through the natural to natural. Our natural mind took their natural mind. Connection from that, like a walkie talkie connecting, as I said in the beginning.

My walkie talkie is not a simple walkie talkie. It’s a very useful walkie talkie, when it comes to the end, usually. That’s why if you want to buy a good walkie talkie, you won’t get a permission to buy a good one. Because you need a license to buy the best quality walkie talkie. Isn’t it? Because it’s illegal. Because it’s very powerful to connect to any country. You have to use this very carefully. Once you’ve lost your connection with the walkie talkie, then you’re confused with the connection with whom, which channel? Then satellite also will not be able to help you to connect with the right one. As you are getting into it, confused with the many empowerments and many practices. It’s a logical, really.

My thing starts with a little bit lazy, but ends with something a little bit kind of understanding. I hope so. That’s why I used to give many explanations and examples. The example makes us to feel more comfortable and think about more. Understand? The connection is like that. All these are related: empowerment, guru, ultimate guru, relative guru and the deity. All these are connecting to each other like a network.

Whithout one finger, you cannot say this is my hand. You cannot say this is my complete power. If one is missing, then how can you say I have a very good hand? No. You cannot say. All this has to be, comes together, the five, all of it. Then you can say, yes, I have the hand to catch. I have a finger to grab. If two is missing, then how can you say I have a finger to catch? These three, can you catch? How can you catch? It’s not possible. You cannot catch the high things like this. No, it’s not possible. You need five of them. Guru, ultimate guru, relative guru, deity and the visualization. Or maybe you can say empowerment. Knowing the guru and then knowing the relative guru and knowing the ultimate guru. And then knowing the deity. Then you will get to understand what is the preciousness of empowerment. Otherwise, we all will get into the confusion.

That’s why I’m taking a very, very long time because I’m explaining from a little and small things that really wants to make you feel like, you know more about, clearer. That’s why. Never have to confuse about the empowerment whenever you receive that I cannot be able to do the practice. And I’m sure that you will not be able to do the practice, the empowerment that you receive. 100% is a guarantee. With a guarantee I will tell you, until now, how much empowerment you have received in your life, you will not fulfill all the practice. You can only fulfill all the empowerment into your practice when you realize the ultimate. When you just know the ultimate, understand the ultimate. Then you will fulfill all the wishes of your empowerment that you received. And also you will be able to fulfill the samaya also that you have received from each and every empowerment. Then we all will be able to do.

That’s why the walkie talkie is very powerful. It looks very small, but it connects very, very strong. Direct connect to the satellite and then all over the world. But it looks very small this much.

Thank you very much. It is not a religion, but now it is, it’s called a religion, whatever we are doing with practice and following some path, following something. Before that, it’s very important – the understanding of the self. Nowadays, I just feel like everyone is just running after someone and don’t know after whom. Most of the beings. Maybe some of them, they know running after whom, but most of us, we don’t know running after whom. But still running. If something is there, like a religion, we just run after it. But actually, important thing is better to running after someone, try to run after yourself. You understand what I really mean.

Better that first we run after ourselves but not after someone. We will get to know that, who we are, actually. And why we are in the samsara. What we really want to achieve from this body. What is the really things that we really looking for. And this is more important, to running after someone, it’s better to run after ourselves. To know the meaning, what is it really. Spent many years, but still we really don’t know ourselves, what I really want, what is my really purpose to be born in this samsara. Have you ever realized it? We doing something all the times, sweating, tiredness, every time we are doing something, but nothing is going to be finished. And what is the purpose of the real doing it? We never give a time to ourselves to understand that. We are always given a time to ourselves to run after someone in this life. Isn’t it? I just feel sometimes like this. Yeah, this is the thing I just share with all of you.

And it is more important. We will I hope receive some interesting things from that, if we know that. So, first that, and then that shows the one something practice or what to do, or to recite or what to do. Otherwise, we are just running and running and running. I don’t think that we are really achieving something. We are getting very old, 30 years, 40 years, 50 years, 60 years, 70 years, but achieving nothing. Because we don’t know ourselves, first of all. So sometimes, I think it’s very good and important to take time to know self and think of it. Sometimes it sounds silly. It sounds silly for some people, someone who really can understand them. It’s kind of interesting too. And it’s also something like a mind training that we can tell. We are giving something meaningful to the mind to do, to search about. For some people, it seems silly. It’s just like a psycho talking, but somehow you will also get some interesting too. It’s just my problem.

So that’s why I think the great masters in the past, the great scientists and great mahasiddhis, or great human beings, many thousands and many years before, 100 and 200 years before, we still remember them. We still remember some great scientists once upon a time. He was a great scientist. Once upon a time, he was a great master. And once upon a time, he was a very great father, very great pop, pop someone. I think because they know themselves first, who they are and why their purpose to come. That’s why even after when they left this body, they just kept their print. They left this samsara and their body maybe 100, 200, 200 years before. But until now, we remember them, their names, their history. We read their stories. Because they have done something and how they did, because after they born in the samsara, before not going into running after some something, right? Before chasing someone, they just chase themselves and they get to know themselves. So, then they did rest of their life after knowing themselves. And even after they left this life, this body, they kept the things that they achieved. That thing, we still remember until now.

Otherwise, many human beings and sentient beings just dying. Every second, if you can realize it, every second, they’re all over the world. Nothing is there. No one to remember, because they just start running after, chasing after someone. Until, that’s why we don’t remember them, because they couldn’t find the things that really wish for, the purpose of their born. So that’s why nobody remembers them.

So that’s why I think the great siddhas, mahasiddhas and great mahamasters and Rinpoche, Holiness, until now we remember, I think it’s because of that. So that’s why, first of all, not for us also, but for the new generations one and to everyone, I think more important thing is to understand self. And then we just walk on the path of anything. Then it will go in some good way and good direction. And everybody remembers all that.

This is the thing for today. It’s just the feelings that I have shared, what I feel. So I think now, it’s time to say good night.
