This Sunday the transmission of the Samayavajra practice will be given by Ga Lhakhang Rinpoche.
Samayavajra (Dam-tshig rdo-rje) is a form of Amoghasiddhi originating from the Guhyasamaja Tantra. This practice is used to purify any breaches that may have occurred in your close bond (dam-tsig, Samaya) with the teacher.
Samaya with the Guru is the foundation of Tantric practice. The Guru is the principal source of blessing and realization; he manifests as the root of all achievements. Breaching this connection, even due to ignorance or carelessness, creates serious obstacles on the path to Awakening.
The Samayavajra practice is specifically designed for the complete purification of non-virtuous karma and damaged Samayas accumulated in relation to the Guru.
